Last week two Batavia Baseball Players, Brayden Schmittou and Mason Patrick, signed letters of intent to continue their baseball careers in college next year. Brayden committed to Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, TN. The Railsplitters are a NCAA Division II program that competes in the South Atlantic Conference. Mason committed to Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, OH. The Bears are a NAIA program that currently plays in the River States Conference. Shawnees State has applied to move up to NCAA Division II in 2026-2027 and compete in the Mountain East Conference. Congratulations to both Brayden and Mason
