Yesterday, Coach Brose informed the Batavia Athletic Department that he is stepping down from the Varsity Boys Basketball position. He still is going to be an assistant golf coach, but not coaching basketball will allow him to spend more time with his family. I personally want to thank Coach Brose for his leadership in the Batavia Athletic Department and with the Boys Basketball Program and the Girls Basketball program before that. His efforts as head coach have made this program stronger and poised to grow with a new leader. Though Coach Brose will still be around as a teacher and golf coach, we are definitely going to miss him on the sidelines! We are going to wait until after spring break before we address the boys basketball position. Keep an eye out for information after spring break.
